my $ex ed growing up

I never understood why I had feelings in my body as if I had been $exu@lly abused, when I wasn’t

Sure..

there were the normalized things most women experience to create this lack of safety like:

» Saying ‘yes’ when really I meant ‘no’
» Feeling $exu@lized & objectified in public
» Not feeling ready for $ex but feeling like I had to
» Pressure not to be the prude girl or the $lut
» Waking up next to someone but not remembering how we got there
» Neglecting my needs & desires by making everyone else more important than me

..but all of those things are just part of being a woman right? 🤢

I racked my brain for years trying to figure out what was WRONG with me & why $ex felt so hard 😵‍💫

Now..

When my clients come to me with a similar experience

💡I remind them of TWO very important things:

1️⃣trauma is not what happened TO you, it’s what happened inside of you as a result of the experience

2️⃣our bodies are imprinted with 14 generations worth of memory - traumas & all - live in our tissue & DNA

It’s not just YOU you’re feeling, it’s also the collective body + consciousness
